A congregation of 1800+ students and staff at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA clapped and cheered as the 35- member-strong Kurn Hattin Select Choir, under the direction of Ms. Lisa Bianconi (with the assistance of Ms. Jen Leonard), performed in the Chapel Service at Milton Hershey School on Sunday, October 23, 2016.

The Kurn Hattin Homes Choir sang three selections: "Let All the World Hear Music (featuring a trio of Leianna Isaacs, Alex Lowe, and Zach Yarosz), "Dona Nobis Pacem," and "Follow Me to the Top" (Zach Yarosz, soloist). Other aspects of the service were also Kurn Hattin related as Steve Harrison, Executive Director offered the opening prayer; scripture was read by alumnae Breanna Holmes, Kaylee Cherbonneau, and Susanna Compare; and the "MHS Pledge" was introduced by alumna Juliana Whitcomb. Pastor Mike Wagner, Director of Religious Programs at MHS, hosted the KHH choir and led worship, presenting the thought-provoking sermon, "Strangers & Aliens."

Kurn Hattin students enjoyed a full weekend of activities, meeting with KHH alumni for a Q&A session, touring the MHS campus, and spending a fun-filled afternoon at Hersheypark®, a huge amusement park adjacent to campus.

The trip was sponsored by the MHS Admissions Office, and several family members of 8th-grade students also attended the events to learn more about Milton Hershey School as a possible next step for their children. Planning is underway for this to become an annual trip for Kurn Hattin Homes.

Thank you to our friends and partners at Milton Hershey School!
